Today I'm going to blog about an awesome survey site I found while searching on the web. This site is called spidermetrix.com and it is based in Australia.
Unlike most other survey sites that have you twiddling your thumbs unable to earn credit later redeemable by cash, spidermetrix allows you to earn some credit (called SpiderPoints) just by posting about sites you may find on the web in their forum.
I think the thing that most attracts me about this site is the fact that they're not strict and uptight like some other similar sites. They even hold friendly competitions from time to time that have SpiderPoint rewards, so you can see that while it's main purpose is the completion of surveys, it is hardly the only thing you can do there. :)
Members are called spiders (pretty sure you expected that :P) and there are five ranks. New members with under 100 SpiderPoints are Daddy Long Legs. The highest rank is the Black Widow, at 501 SpiderPoints. This influences the amount of SpiderPoints you earn from completing a Full Survey (defined as a survey that requires 20 or more minutes to complete; also called a Rating). The higher your rank, the more points you get from said survey.
As a final note, please remember that doing surveys online is not a "get-rich-quick" scheme, and is more a form of supplementary income.
